The students have 27 resident horses to work with, ranging in ages and experience. Every year two or three foals are born for the students to learn to handle. Students are welcome to bring their own horse to the centre for the duration of the course. The students live in very comfortable accommodation and are fed like kings. The day starts at 6.30am in the summer months and 8am in winter, and we finish when the horses are put to bed, then it is study time. Lights out no later than 10.30. Students are not allowed home for the first month, thereafter they have a week-end off and mid-way the students have a week off at home! This is vital due to the intensity of the course.
